Objective:Passing the lead abatement supervisor initial course test which will enable a person to apply for a Texas Department of State Health Services lead abatement supervisor certification.

• Soil & Exterior Dust Abatement / LBP Hazard Control and Reduction Methods
• Testing and Clearance Standards
• Cleanup & Waste Disposal
• Record Keeping
• Cases Studies
• Preparation for TDSHS state exam

Course Prerequisite:

• One Year Experienced Certified lead abatement worker
• Two years in related field ‟(eg. lead, asbestos, or environmental remediation work) or bldg. construction trades

Test: At the completion of the course, a 100 question test will be administered. A minimum score of 70% will be passing.
