Course Prerequisite: NONE
Course Content:  Detail discussion of current State of Texas asbestos regulations. The instructor shall guide the student(s) through the various rules: Texas Administrative code, Title 5, Part 1, Chapter 295, Subpart C, Rules 295.31 thru 295.73, Health services, Texas department of State Health Protection Rules; any other pertinent state regulations. Cursory review of business, personal legal implications, and health effects of asbestos.  Each student will receive a copy of current state regulations for references.
Test: At the completion of the course, a 100 question test will be administered. A minimum score of 70% or higher is required to for the course certification. Student must also successfully complete all hands-on activities and be able to demonstrate collection and analytical procedures.
